It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Graham Sweet, the founder of Graham Sweet Studios. Graham Sweet died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 7th, surrounded by his family. He was 84.Graham will be sorely missed by his family, close-knit team and the broader creative industry.Graham Sweet, a name synonymous with innovation and creativity, took a step back from the daily operations of the business around five years ago to care for his wife who had suffered a stroke. He left much of the day to day running in the capable hands of his son, Siôn Sweet, who has been an integral part of Graham Sweet Studios since 1996.
We recently produced these large 3d letters for City of Birmingham Orchestra, a symphony orchestra and charity that makes music that matters to the people of Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond, for the launch of their new brand.
Earlier this year, we produced these giant flower pot props for Pooch and Mutt, a health food company for dogs.
The giant flowers pots were used as the backdrop for this wonderful photo shoot with some particularly gorgeous pooches!
We were excited to receive these wonderful photos of our giant 3D letters on display at Telco Switch’s WTF 23 event earlier this year!
At 760mm high, and coloured in a bright turquoise to suit the company’s branding, the letters were an eye catching addition to the event on stage.
The letters were fixed to individual painted bases, which made them easy to display and to transport.
We were pleased to hear that the letters were a success at the event!
Thank you for sharing these great photos with us.

We love these wonderful shots of our Easter eggs at Bolton Abbey last year!
The colourful glitter eggs were suspended from the trees to form part of the Easter egg trail in the woodlands at Bolton Abbey.
The 3D glitter patterned eggs look fantastic! Thank you for sharing these wonderful images with us.
We have loved creating other props for Bolton Abbey over the years for their seasonal events, including snowflakes for Christmas and giant pumpkins for Halloween!
For more information on Bolton Abbey, and the events being held this year, see their website.
At Graham Sweet Studios, we manufacture a range of different sized egg designs and finishes. See our website for more information on our giant 3D Easter Eggs.
We were so excited to receive these wonderful photos of bespoke hairdryers we produced last winter on display!
We produced giant polystyrene retro hairdryer shapes for London Florist and Stylist, ROCCO. The hairdryers were covered with flowers by ROCCO, and went on display at different locations of a London salon chain, HARI’S.
The finished products looked great! We were so pleased that the project was such a success.
“We were thrilled with them and the clients. Fantastic turn around and great relationship with your team”
Here’s a photo of one of the 6 polystyrene hairdryer shape in progress, before painting matt black.

Butchers and black pudding producers, Charles MacLeod on Stornoway, created this wonderful Christmas window display with our VM Bauble Shelves.
The VM Bauble Shelves were the perfect products for the festive scheme, and effectively displayed the delicious produce.
The butchers, known locally as Charlie Barleys won the best original and creatively dressed shop window trophy in the Stornoway town shop window competition. Judges from Western Isles Lottery said it was creative and original and deserving of the award. Congratulations to the team from us all at Graham Sweet Studios!
The VM Bauble Shelves were used as a 5 gold rings display with two themes for the different windows – one showcasing that the butchers has everything available for a delicious Christmas dinner, and the other showcasing the delicious treats available for a gift hamper.
The award winning black, white and fruit puddings and haggis are available by mail order via the website www.charlesmacleod.co.uk

We recently sent our giant SF52P design snowflakes to Glasgow Elim Church.
The snowflakes have helped to make wonderful wintry backdrop to the Church’s Christmas Service, the Christmas Contemporary Carol Service and for a local school’s Christmas Service. At over 1m high, the different sized snowflakes have definitely made an impact in the space.
We love the displays! Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos with us.

We recently produced some snowflakes and glitter VM Bauble Display Shelves for The Bagman in Aylesbury. The store decided on a selection of our polystyrene snowflake designs to adorn the space. Hanging from the ceiling, the snowflakes look really effective, and they have helped to create a wonderfully wintry display.
Our glitter VM Display Shelves were the perfect items to display some of the wide selection of bags and purses at The Bagman.
