Variety of materials and finishes

Our collection boasts a diverse range of options to suit every taste and requirement.

Polystyrene eggs – coated.
Our collection boasts a diverse range of options to suit every taste and requirement. The most cost effective options start with our 3d Polystyrene eggs. We then coat these with Idenden ( which makes them stronger and more resistant to fire ). We can then either Cover them with glitter, or paint them in a variety of designs and colours.
This range are available in our online store.

polyurethane coated.
For a more durable finish, the eggs can be sprayed with polyurethane. This greatly increases their strength, without adding an excessive amount to the cost or lead time.

Jesmonite Coated
For small runs, we can coat the egg props with jesmonite. This is a water/ acrylic based hard coating. This makes them much stronger, and also gives a smooth surface to achieve glossy effects.

Fibre-Glass For larger runs, or where strength is critical, we can produce fibreglass easter eggs. This makes the eggs very strong, but is a time consuming process, so last minuet orders in fibreglass are not normally possible.

Papier-Mâché Effect
Adding a creative twist to our range, we offer polystyrene eggs covered with a layer of paper, creating a charming papier-mâché effect. These eggs bring a classic, handcrafted feel to any setting. While we are in the process of developing fully papier-mâché eggs, our current range is perfect for indoor displays where a softer, more artistic aesthetic is desired. These papier-mâché effect eggs offer a unique visual appeal, ideal for intimate settings or thematic indoor events.

Fixings and bases

Glittered polystyrene egg - fitted with hanging point.

For an additional charge, the eggs can fitted with secure hanging points, bottom fixing points, or wooden bases to help the eggs stand up.

UK Manufacture

Polystyrene eggs - in production in our uk studios

Our Large cut eggs are manufactured at our studios in the UK – which mean we can usually offer very fast turnaround times. We use good quality expanded polystyrene containing a flame retarding additive, and don’t use any highly flammable adhesive when applying glitter.

Plain Polystyrene eggs

If you are looking to coat and decorate the eggs yourselves, we offer a full range of plain white polystyrene eggs.
